Do you love tasting new chocolates and dreaming up new flavour combinations? Are you passionate about creating beautiful products and transforming the North East chocolate scene? La Chocolatrice is a new and exciting chocolate company, founded in November 2019, and based in the North East of England. We have a very exciting opportunity for the correct candidate to work in our brand new chocolate factory in Coxhoe, County Durham, making delicious chocolates to supply to our stores and our wholesale customers.

We are looking for someone creative, hardworking, and positive, with a keen eye for detail and a love of cleaning.



  • Prepare all chocolate bars / bonbons / treats as directed in a sanitary and timely manner

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications

  • Propose new creations

  • Operate standard kitchen equipment and chocolate machines safely and efficiently

  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards

  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment

  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift

  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards




  • Strong organisational skills

  • Experience working in a kitchen environment is required


  • Culinary experience

  • Experience working with chocolate

  • Good knowledge and understanding of ingredients required and suppliers


We offer the chance to create delicious chocolates. Experience working with chocolate is desired but not essential as full and extensive training will be provided. We would love to work with someone who is passionate about our brand and products.
