A sell out Saturday for Chocolate Covered Strawberries in the North East
July 2025 has been a whirlwind for us at La Chocolatrice. After months of planning we finally unveiled our very own chocolate covered strawberries to our loyal fans across the North East, and the response has been nothing short of incredible.
When we opened our doors at 10 a.m. last Saturday there was already a queue forming outside our chocolate factory in Coxhoe. Within minutes our new chocolate covered strawberries North East launch had sold out. To keep everyone happy we restocked as quickly as we could, but by 1 p.m. every last strawberry had been dipped, drizzled and devoured. We were completely blown away by the buzz and by the number of people who travelled from Durham, Newcastle and beyond to taste our latest creation.
We just want to say thank you. The excitement and support from our community made this day unforgettable. Seeing everyone share photos on social media and reading your kind messages has warmed our hearts and fuelled our passion to bring even more handcrafted treats to the North East.

The sell out success has convinced us to keep the strawberries flowing. Throughout the summer holidays our chocolate covered strawberries will be available every Friday and Saturday, starting at 10.30 a.m. We’ll keep dipping until we sell out, so it’s best to come early or watch our social media for live updates.
