On 6th June 2026, I married my wonderful husband, Chris, in what was truly the happiest and most magical day.

We were surrounded by the people we love, in places that mean so much to us, and the whole day felt incredibly personal. So many talented, kind and supportive people helped bring our plans to life, not just on the wedding day itself, but throughout the months leading up to it.

Before planning a wedding, I completely underestimated just how important choosing the right suppliers would be. These are the people you trust with some of the most meaningful parts of your day, and their energy, enthusiasm and professionalism make such a difference.

Looking back, I feel so, so fortunate with every choice we made. Here are the wonderful suppliers I used for our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend.

Wedding Dress: Bex Brides

I had bought a beautiful but relatively simple wedding dress and took it to Bex to transform.

I knew I wanted flowers incorporated into the design, but I was not quite prepared for the masterpiece Bex would eventually create. Bex is an artist and a true visionary. She completely understood what I was imagining and worked over several months to bring that vision to life.

She created something completely unique and made me feel so confident wearing it. My dress felt like a genuine piece of art, and I will always be grateful for the time, care and creativity she put into it.

I could not recommend Bex more highly.

Hair: Bridal Hair by Kayleigh

Kayleigh provided an amazing service from beginning to end.

She was so calm and lovely to spend time with on the morning of the wedding. She listened carefully to what I wanted, while also making suggestions based on what she knew would work best.

My hair looked exactly how I had hoped it would, and it genuinely did not move all day.

Makeup: Amanda Bell MUA

Amanda was the ultimate hype woman on the morning of my wedding, which is something I did not know I needed, but I absolutely did.

She is a complete professional and made the whole experience feel relaxed, fun and exciting. I wanted my makeup to look completely natural, like myself, but of course, a little bit better. She absolutely nailed it.

Not only did I feel beautiful, but I also felt confident, which was just as important. Amanda brought such wonderful energy to the morning and helped me feel completely ready for the day ahead.

Photographer: Carla Whittingham Photography

I believe in fate, and fate led us to Carla.

From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect person to photograph our wedding. Carla is incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, while also being completely professional and extremely talented.

She made us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, and her excitement for our wedding was infectious.

Our photographs have surpassed every expectation we had. She captured the joy, emotion and atmosphere of the day so beautifully, and we are incredibly grateful to have those memories forever.

Videographer: Daniel Vincent Films

Daniel was so easy to work with, and from our very first meeting, we were excited to have him as part of our wedding team.

He was enthusiastic, encouraging and another brilliant hype man to have around on the day. His creativity is what makes him so special, and I truly felt that he went above and beyond to capture our wedding.

He filmed using vintage camcorders, a drone and his professional recording equipment, creating a wonderful mixture of footage that feels both nostalgic and cinematic.

We felt completely confident having Daniel there, and we are so pleased he was part of our day.

Bouquets and Buttonholes: Vintage Essence

I was incredibly lucky to have my very own flower committee for the wedding.

My mum, Auntie Catherine, Amanda, Alison and Brenda created the most amazing flower arrangements for both the church and the marquee. They put so much time and love into every arrangement, and the flowers looked absolutely beautiful.

We did, however, use Vintage Essence for our wedding bouquets and buttonholes, and I am so pleased we did.

Sarah created the most magnificent bouquets. They were absolutely stunning and complemented everything perfectly. I could not stop looking at mine.

The Band: The Emerald Thieves

I can honestly say that we had the best wedding band ever.

The Emerald Thieves were absolutely amazing, and we had the most incredible time on the dance floor. It is difficult to do the atmosphere they created justice, but the dance floor was full, the energy was brilliant and everyone had the best time.

They created memories that I will genuinely never forget.

Party Dress: Wynyard Reloved

I have been a big fan of Wynyard Reloved for a long time, and I am so pleased that this is where I found my second wedding dress.

I was not initially sure whether I would want to change out of my wedding dress, but boy did it get hot on that dance floor.

I visited Maddie a few months before the wedding, and she had the perfect dress waiting for me. It felt like fate. It was fun, comfortable and exactly what I needed for dancing the night away.

Personalised Children’s Colouring Packs: Colour with Em

Emma, my brand new sister in law, has her own colouring business, Colour with Em, where she designs and sells her own colouring books.

For our wedding, she created a set of bespoke colouring cards for the children. Each card featured a special wedding themed design for them to colour in and give to us afterwards. They were such a lovely and personal addition to the day, and the children really enjoyed them.

Emma is now offering personalised wedding colouring packs as a service, and I think they are a brilliant way to keep younger guests entertained while also creating something special for the couple to keep.

Wedding Favours: La Chocolatrice

Of course, I made my own wedding favours.

Each guest received either a milk chocolate salted caramel bar or a white chocolate raspberry caramel bar, complete with a personalised Zoë and Chris label.

We also created a chocolate table filled with all sorts of La Chocolatrice treats, including Minty Mice, handmade chocolate bonbons and plenty more.

It was so special to include such a personal part of my life and business in our wedding day, and I loved seeing everyone enjoying the chocolates.

Feeling Very Lucky

Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with such a wonderful group of people.

I had underestimated just how important our supplier choices would prove to be. These people were not simply providing a service. They were there during some of the most emotional, exciting and memorable moments of the entire experience.

Every one of them helped make our wedding feel special, personal and completely us. I would recommend them all again and again.
